(...or maybe not so secret if you're posting them online, I suppose, but...) I'm just curious: who else already knows what they plan to write for next NaNo?
And what other writing projects are you scheming about until then?
*is teetering indecisively on how much and what to do and when* I think I'm just going to play it by ear... still need to finish Twoswords' first draft from FiMo, which should happen sometime in the next few months.
And then I'll probably do some more of my spastic off-and-on background world planning on it, in preparation for next November, and work on some of the many other unfinished story ideas I have lying about. ...Anything to procrastinate on editing, right? X) Ifwhen I get the first draft done, though, I'm probably...might focus more on revising if I can get that local NaNoWriMo writers' group together for regular meetings. And keep up with but not get too swept up in the RP board I'm rejoining sometime this month. And figure out my health and job and stuff too... no word goals for a few months, though, I think. Although I might get suckered into changing my mind on that, too, especially with work slowing down, dun dun dunnn. _________________ NaNoFiMo novel:

I haven't decided which of my current ideas I'll use, unless it's a new one of course! But I have a bunch of plot bunnies, so I won't be left stuck, that's for sure. _________________ Starting word count: 114,200

I know what I'm going to do next NaNo now that the trilogy's finished (as far as NaNoWriMo goes). But other WriMos? If I get the entire trilogy completed (as in completely written), there's some other projects I want to get to eventually. _________________ NaNo '06: Black Science

I have a short story that I really need to re-write, and another novel that's been sitting at 23,000 words for the last year or so. That's after I finished writing (I estimate I'm only one third to halfway done) my currant novel, and get some editing done. I have two siblings who are demanding to see it as soon as I finish the 1st draft, but I won't let them until I finish the 2nd. |

I have about six pieces that have prior writing that I plan to finish up sometime this year, and I have three ideas for my NaNo, although that's a long ways away and I might have something new by then. I decided I loved one of the secondary characters of this years NaNo so much that I'm going to write her story, so if I haven't done it by November then she will be come 09 NaNo. Kind of fitting in a way. It won't be a sequel, and I'm not sure if you would call it a prequel, or what. Most of the events will have taken place before the timeline of the current book, and some of the characters and events from the new story lead to the current story, but at the same time it's following another character, so I'm not sure what you would call it. I can't wait to write it, either way.
Till then I have a mystery to write for a local course I'm taking, and I just started the online two year novel course, is anyone else here participating in that? I have to say, it will be hard to stretch writing a novel out over two years after kicking one out in two months, although I think most of year two is the editing and publishing work. _________________ Tina Rod.
